One moment it’s floating next to me, next thing I know it’s sitting on the opposite side of the bar. Now I’ll be honest, I got pretty drunk and lost track of my Sidekick Drybag. My third day I spent relaxing at a swim up bar, with my Sidekick in tow.

I kept my phone and wallet in the bag, and even after an hour and a half boat ride in each direction on a high speed, inflatable boat on 4 foot swells, everything was still safe, secure, and dry at the end of the day. Once in Costa Rica, I spent the first 2 days scuba diving in the pacific. On my way to and from the airport, I used this configuration to keep my wallet, passport, plane tickets, phone charger, and other essentials on hand for easy access. First, I attached a strap to it to use as a sling during travel (I had to buy this separately, as YETI does not offer this, my one issue with the product). I’m writing this review during my layover at the airport on my way home from Costa Rica, where I really put this bag through hell. I also throw this dry bag under my towel and use it as a pillow, as the bag holds a certain amount of air inside, which also helps it stay afloat should it get dropped in the water. When I’m home, I take my SideKick to the beach to keep my essentials dry and sand free. I live in the Tampa Bay Area, but also do a lot of traveling to scuba dive and go on adventures. I highly endorse this product and stand by the YETI brand name even more after putting the SideKick to the test. I have no idea if this will help anyone, but I wanted to write a review for what is probably one of my best YETI purchases to date. We’re here because we like the brand and everything about the outdoor lifestyle it promotes.
